BREAKING: Tom Homan Scolds Democrat Congresswoman — “Shame on Her!”

Washington, D.C. — A fiery debate erupted on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” as former ICE Director Tom Homan harshly criticized Democratic Congresswoman Delia Ramirez following her controversial statement regarding national identity and immigrant pride.

A Controversial Statement Amid America’s Immigration Debate

Host Laura Ingraham opened the segment with a powerful reminder of traditional American immigration values:

“Think about the millions of immigrants who came here legally during the great industrial wave of the early 1900s through the 1950s. They were eager to be Americans — part of the melting pot. They spoke English in public. But clearly, a lot has changed.”

She then played a clip of Congresswoman Delia Ramirez saying:

“I want to finish by saying a few words in Spanish because I am a Guatemalan with much pride before I am an American.”

That statement was all it took to spark outrage from Tom Homan, who served as ICE Director under President Donald Trump.

Tom Homan: “SHAME ON HER”

Asked for his reaction, Homan didn’t hold back:

“Wow… just wow. She’s a member of the United States Congress, privileged to represent the citizens of her state — people who voted her into office. Her first obligation is to them. SHAME ON HER.”

He added:

“I don’t have a problem with her being proud of her Guatemalan roots or speaking Spanish. But that does not give her the right to place another country above America — especially when she’s serving in our highest legislative body.”

A Shot at ICE?

Homan went further, suggesting her comments weren’t just about identity, but may have been a veiled jab at ICE.

“That was a shot at ICE. I truly believe it. She doesn’t like what we do.”

He emphasized:

“Well, let me disappoint her: ICE is still arresting thousands of illegal Guatemalan nationals each week — and we’re going to keep doing that until every last one is removed from this country.”

Child Trafficking and Missing Children

The conversation then shifted to a far more serious topic: child trafficking and missing migrant children.

“There’s an ongoing child sex trafficking operation,” Laura Ingraham stated. “Just in the last month, I’ve seen 47 predators arrested — many of them illegal immigrants.”

She also revealed that Guatemala’s Attorney General has reached out, seeking help returning these missing children:

“We’ve already found over 13,000 of those missing kids. Some were safe, others were victims of sex slavery or forced labor.”

Homan reaffirmed the Trump administration’s commitment:

“President Trump made a promise: we will not rest until we find every single one of these children.”

The “Speedway Slammer” and Mass Deportation Plans

Ingraham then brought up the newly opened “Speedway Slammer” facility in Alabama, a large-scale holding center for illegal immigrants. It’s been compared to Florida’s “Alligator Alcatraz” and has caused uproar among left-wing politicians.

“The left is going crazy over this facility,” Ingraham said. “But we need places like this if we’re going to reset the system with legal immigrants who want to be here and follow the rules.”

Homan agreed and unveiled broader plans:

“We’re not going to stop until we have 100,000 detention beds. Everyone we arrest needs a bed. That’s where due process happens — immigration court, hearings, all of it.”

“They might be in that bed for a few days or a few months, but we need that space to carry out the largest deportation operation in the history of this country.”

Record Numbers and What’s Coming Next

According to Homan, the numbers are already staggering:

“We’ve already hit nearly 300,000 apprehensions — and that’s with four months of Biden doing nothing.”

“But with a big beautiful wall, more boots on the ground, more beds, and more transport contracts, you watch what happens next year, Laura. It’s going to be incredible.”

Conclusion: America First

The exchange between Ingraham and Homan was a passionate defense of national loyalty, border security, and responsible immigration policy.

While Democrats continue to face criticism for soft immigration stances, voices like Homan and Ingraham are calling for a return to foundational values: law, order, and national pride.

“If you’re an elected official in the United States,” Homan concluded, “then America — and the American people — must be your top priority.”
