Billie Eilish has publicly slammed Elon Musk amid news that the Tesla CEO is nearing the milestone of becoming the “world’s first trillionaire.”
The American musician, 23, posted a series of expletive Instagram stories on Friday morning referring to Musk as a “f—ing pathetic p—y b—h coward.”
The statement came after she re-shared an Instagram carousel originally posted by an account called My Voice, My Choice.
It suggested ways Musk could use his money to help assist vulnerable populations across the world, including solving world hunger, saving endangered species and rebuilding Gaza and Ukraine.
“Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire. Here’s what he could do with it,” the carousel began.
One slide suggested Musk could “end world hunger” by 2030 if the tech mogul “chose to spend $40 billion every year or provide universal safe, clean water for $140 billion for the planet over seven years.”
Another slide claimed it could take just $1-2 billion annually to save all 10,443 critically endangered species on the planet.

The last of the carousel posted by Eilish claimed that “at just $53.2 billion, Must could rebuild Gaza and the occupied West Bank”.
The post concluded: “If he wanted to spread the wealth and aid further, he could also rebuild Ukraine and Syria at a cost of $793.9 billion.”
Elish then shared the message about Musk on a black screen, simply writing:
“etc… f–ing pathetic p–sy b–th coward.”
The statement came after Tesla shareholders approved a pay package that would make Musk, who is already the world’s richest person, the world’s first trillionaire.
Tesla announced that more than 75 per cent of shares voted in favour of the pay package during the company’s annual shareholder meeting. The vote didn’t include the 15 per cent of the company that Musk already owns.
Musk doesn’t take any salary, but the approved pay package comes in the form of a stock grant that would give him as much as 423.7 million additional Tesla shares over the next ten years.
Those shares could be worth about $1.54 trillion, assuming the company reaches the $13 trillion market cap needed to have Musk qualify for the full potential payout.
Musk isn’t the first wealthy person Eilish has called out.
While accepting the Music Innovator Award at the WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards in October, the Birds of a Feather singer called out billionaires in her acceptance speech.
“We’re in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and really dark and people need empathy and help more than ever, especially in our country,” she said.
“I’d say if you have money, it would be great to use it for good things – maybe give it to some people that need it.”
“Love you all, but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me.
“If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire? No hate, but yeah, give your money away, shorties.”
Facebook founder and billionaire Mark Zuckerberg was in the audience as she gave her speech.
Eilish herself recently donated over $17 million from her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour to organisations which focus on climate justice, food insecurity, and carbon reduction.
