Tucker Carlson was apparently just fired by Fox News, the network revealed he would no longer be part of the network’s daily lineup. We all thought Tucker got the boot but Megyn Kelly has some inside information that claims he is still a Fox News employee. According to her sources, Megyn Kelly revealed there has been not termination yet but they will reach an agreement to pay him out. Bottom line is that Fox News and Tucker Carlson won’t be associated anymore. But Kelly wanted to ask the questions everybody is asking right now, why did Fox News act in this fashion against their biggest asset and what led them to make this decision to part ways with him?

Here’s what Megyn Kelly said: “Tucker was not fired from Fox. He still needs to negotiate the exit, he is not free to launch a podcast or digital show or negotiate with other employers at all because he is still under contract. They pulled his show off the air, they also fired his executive producer Justin Wells, and though he try to find out why, they would not tell him. They refuse to tell him why, to me, that’s so disheartening, he’d been at the company for years, he’d been in the Prime Time for seven years and saw Fox News through one of the most difficult times in its history. The immediate era Post Roger Ailes where they didn’t know left from right, they really didn’t have a strong management leading the company and they have lost two of the biggest stars Bill O’ Reily and me.”

What is Fox News not saying about Tucker Carlson’s departure?

The main problem here is that everything has been extremely secretive with Tucker Carlson’s dismissal. Nobody will tell any news organization exactly what happened and they probably will remain quiet. For now, Tucker Carlson also can’t say much because he wants to get paid what Fox News owes him. He also wants to reach an amiccable deal that will alow him to remain in the air for some other network, whether it’s mainstream or independent. As soon as that happens, you can all expect Tucker Carlson to speak his truth and take charge against the corporate media in the best way he knows how. Although his views are extremely conservative and divisive, he does have a huge personality and he attracts millions with his brand.
