A mother from England, who has 12 children, is alleged to have stolen over $12,000 in coins from parking meters. Cheryl Prudham, aged 34, is familiar with both media attention and controversy. Previously, she faced criticism for receiving more than $49,000 annually in welfare, earning her the moniker “Queen of Benefits” in various national newspapers.
Earlier this year, Cheryl was seen shopping for a Mercedes at a dealership located near her residence in Wigan, Lancashire.
Cheryl’s estranged spouse, Robert Prudham, aged 31, faces charges for stealing $12,886 from parking meters and for failing to disclose prior criminal records to a hiring agency. Cheryl is accused of being involved in the handling of Robert’s illicitly obtained funds.
The trio, which includes Jacob Undertown, aged 27, is all facing the same charges, yet they deny the accusations. It is reported that the three individuals stole cash and coins from multiple parking facilities in Maidstone, Kent.
Cheryl, Robert, and Undertown are scheduled to stand trial in November, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Cheryl works part-time as a cleaner and has had six children with two different partners before having another six with Robert.
The couple separated after Cheryl claims to have discovered Robert engaging in a threesome with his cousin.
“I do not desire another [man] as they require too much effort. I was hurt by Robert and find it challenging to trust again,” she stated.
Recently, she disclosed her desire to have another child, which she intends to achieve through a sperm donor. She admits to being addicted to the idea of becoming pregnant.
While Cheryl and Robert were still married, they reportedly earned $73,626 annually and managed to avoid a $31,899 benefits cap. According to The Mirror, having a 13th child would allow Cheryl to claim additional benefits.
“Another baby would result in more benefits, so the more, the merrier,” Cheryl remarked.
“I am not concerned about being affected by the benefits cap; there are always alternatives available to circumvent it.”
She intends to allocate the additional funds towards breast enhancement surgery and a tummy tuck.
“I have dedicated a significant portion of my life to raising children, and I wish to indulge myself and focus on my own needs for a while,” she states.
“I have received proposals for dates, but I am no longer interested in men, and I have come to understand that having children brings me joy.”
