Fox New’s Jesse Watters was publicly embarrassed on live TV after he bizarrely claimed that men who sit behind screens all day “are women.” He was quickly reminded that his job requires him to do so.

Watters made the comment during a broadcast of The Five, Fox News Channel’s conservative political talk show with full-time hosts Greg Gutfeld, Dana Perino, Jesse Watters, Jeanine Pirro, and rotating hosts Jessica Tarlov and Harold Ford Jr. discusses current events, political issues, and pop culture.

“When you sit behind a screen all day, it makes you a woman. Studies have shown this,” Watters said confidently during a discussion about President Donald Trump’s trade war, citing supposed studies. The Fox News host tried to defend his statement by comparing the loneliness of a remote job compared to that of an in-person occupation. Pointing to fellow panelist Harold Ford Jr., he says “building robots like Harold, you’re around other guys and not HR ladies and lawyers.

Laughter erupted from the other commentators, including Pirro who asked Watters “what do you do? He asked his colleague to let him finish, but she cut him off by exclaiming “you sit behind a screen.”

Watters is an outspoken Trump supporter and has uttered weird claims before. Mots recently, he engaged in a weird conversation about Department of Government Efficiency leader Elon Musk’s sex life.

Watters said on live television that he thoroughly investigated the women Elon Musk “was getting” prior to his becoming the world’s richest man. Watters went live on Fox News to defend Elon Musk and the former “girls he was getting” while attempting to break down a claim by Bill Burr. He told viewers that he done a “deep dive” and approved of the girls in Musk’s past.

“I think this guy – what’s his name Bill Burr,” Jesse Watters started off. “I don’t know if that was material he was doing the other day when he was making fun of conservatives, maybe it was, let’s just pretend it was real,” Watters continued. “He said Musk and his DOGE boys were nerds who couldn’t get girls when they were young. Now, I went and did a deep dive on the girls they were getting. Musk’s girlfriend in college was very pretty. She was thin and had a nice face and was very pretty.”

“And then he had another girlfriend and they ended up getting married together and having like four children – so he had never had a problem getting girls, that’s what I’m here to talk about tonight,” Watters continued as the rest of the hosts laughed.

“He did fine,” he added.

Watters also included a remark regarding Bill Burr’s history with women. “It’s Burr and I did a deep dive on Burr – just gonna leave it like that,” Watters said. Bill Burr claimed on The View that Elon Musk and his nerds “don’t know how to talk to hot women,” so they make robots.
