TONY ROMO received intense flak from CBS viewers while calling the NFL clash between the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos. 

The Bills and the Broncos locked horns in the Wild Card Round on Sunday at the Highmark Stadium in New York.

Buffalo dominated the match as they picked up a triumphant 31-7 victory.

And Romo, 44, yubi split fan opinion with his passionate commentary and unmatched energy.

Some NFL enthusiasts couldn’t handle it and stormed social media, with a few even calling for Greg Olsen to replace him.

One fan tweeted: “Bring in Greg Olsen.”

Another commented: “This NFL game is on mute. Tony Romo is insufferable. My God.”

A third wrote: “He’s horrific.”

This fan said: “Have never been able to stand the guy.”

And that one stated: “Oh man. I almost cannot watch a game when he’s in the booth.”

However, there were also many who praised Romo with some glowing posts across social media.

One fan tweeted: “Romo is still the best analyst…”
