Megyn Kelly Honors Sister in Touching Tribute After Her Death

Dr. Malhotra sought assistance from gastroenterologist Dr. Sabine Hazan, whose research indicates that Covid vaccines may deplete the body of beneficial bacteria, specifically Bifidobacterium.

Bifidobacterium is believed to enhance the production of immune cells. Dr. Malhotra informed DailyMail.com that a microbiome test revealed she had no Bifidobacterium, which is considered one of the essential gut bacteria for overall health.

While some case studies have reported instances of psoriasis following Covid vaccination, the research remains inconclusive, and there has been no direct association established between the condition and vaccines. Ongoing studies on vaccine side effects continue to emerge, yet the CDC maintains its recommendation for Covid vaccines and boosters, particularly for older adults and those with weakened immune systems, as they may be at greater risk for the disease.

Currently, only two long-term side effects have been definitively associated with the Covid vaccine: anaphylaxis and two forms of heart damage known as myocarditis and pericarditis. In cases of myocarditis, it is believed that the immune system may mistakenly identify the mRNA in Covid vaccines as a threat, prompting an autoimmune response that results in inflammation of the myocardium, the heart muscle. A similar mechanism is thought to contribute to pericarditis, which causes inflammation of the pericardium, the protective sac surrounding the heart.Trump Campaign Goes After Megyn Kelly Over a Heated Fox News Interview - Business Insider

Both myocarditis and pericarditis have been associated with various viruses, including those responsible for the common cold and hepatitis, as well as Covid. Although most cases are mild, there are rare instances where these conditions can lead to significant heart damage, impairing the heart’s ability to pump blood and potentially resulting in heart failure, heart attacks, or strokes. In the United States, the incidence of myocarditis and pericarditis is uncommon, with estimates ranging from one in 50,000 to one in 200,000 individuals.

Federal statistics indicate that the risk of developing myocarditis from Covid infection is considerably higher than that associated with vaccination, prompting experts to continue endorsing the vaccines. Furthermore, autoimmune diseases have been more consistently linked to long Covid than to vaccination, making it challenging to ascertain whether a person’s side effects stem from the virus or the vaccine if they have previously contracted Covid.
