Lawrence Jones has been officially appointed as the fourth permanent co-host of Fox News Channel’s leading morning show. He will join Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade on the weekday broadcast, which airs from 6 to 9 a.m.
After the announcement, Jones expressed his excitement on Instagram, thanking his supporters for their overwhelming encouragement. He stated, “I can’t thank y’all enough for all the love.”
The announcement was met with a wave of positive feedback from fans, who filled the comment section with congratulatory messages for the 30-year-old. Since 2022, Jones has been hosting his own weekend program, Lawrence Jones Cross Country, on Fox News.
With his new role on Fox & Friends, his weekend show will be succeeded by One Nation with Brian Kilmeade. Nevertheless, Jones will maintain his position as the network’s enterprise reporter. Many fans voiced their disappointment regarding the end of Lawrence Jones Cross Country, with one remarking, “Well deserved, but I sure will miss all the good you did on Cross Country.” Another echoed similar feelings, stating, “One of the best, but I will definitely miss Cross Country!”
Embracing this new phase in his career, Jones shared his enthusiasm for joining Fox & Friends in a statement to Variety, saying, “I am honored to become a part of the cable news legacy Fox News has created with Fox & Friends, the very show where I made my first-ever national television appearance. It is truly a privilege to inform our audience every day, and I can’t wait to do so each morning.” Gavin Hadden, Fox News’ senior vice president of morning programming, also commended Jones’ contributions, noting, “Lawrence has his finger on the pulse of what matters to communities across America, and his insight has proved invaluable to the Fox & Friends audience.”
Fans have shown their support for Jones, with one enthusiastically commenting, “You are…Jones officially began his role as a co-host on Monday; however, he has been associated with Fox News since 2018, where he has held multiple positions within the organization throughout the years.
