“They said it was harmless fun” – WNBA fan forcibly removed from arena after being caught with a shocking and unexplained item as league’s controversial crackdown on intimate devices takes center stage, sparking outrage, confusion, and heated debates over what really crossed the line that night

What began as an ordinary night of basketball turned into a viral spectacle that has the sports world buzzing. A WNBA fan was abruptly escorted out of the arena after security allegedly discovered a “curious” object in their possession — an item tied to the league’s recent, headline-grabbing crackdown on certain adult-themed accessories. Witnesses described a mix of laughter, shock, and disbelief rippling through the crowd as security closed in. The league has not clarified whether the removal was due to policy violations, safety concerns, or a hardline interpretation of its newly tightened rules. Critics say the incident shows overreach, while defenders argue it was necessary to preserve the game’s atmosphere.

See the full video, hear from witnesses, and decide for yourself whether the league acted to protect its image — or went too far in policing its fans.

A WNBA fan got himself kicked out of a game after he was seen holding up a Caitlin Clark flag during a game this week.

The WNBA is going through it right now, with ratings down due to Clark’s injury, player protests for higher salaries, and, of course, the epidemic of green d*ldos being thrown onto the court.

As you might imagine, the latter remains a priority for the league, as sex toys making it onto the court is certainly not a good look, especially given that kids make up a significant section of the audience. But it appears they still aren’t prepared to let fans get away with flags despite their crackdown on the green pleasure tools.

One Caitlin fan found this out recently, having been booted from the stands sometime after he held a flag open in the stands.

Check it out in the video below:

Some WNBA arenas enforce a size policy for flags and banners. The rules are usually set by the venue and not the league itself, so they can vary from location to location.

The Phoenix Mercury’s Footprint Center, where the game in question was being played, has a size limit of 24” x 36”.

It appears that the WNBA fan who got kicked out had a larger flag.
