“Hey, listen, you know I cold plunge, right?” Mark asked early on in the show.

“Yes, how could we forget?” Kelly responded.

Mark grinned as he went on: “They say that it’s the new way to seal a deal, do business.”

He continued: “It used to be come and hang out, we’ll go and do a round of golf, gonna go in the sauna, we’re gonna talk about this deal, cocktails, but now…it’s cold plunge. And I know why.”

Kelly couldn’t wait to say what was on her mind as Mark spoke.

“I like the way you put the emphasis on the plunge,” she said.

“Well, English is my second language,” Mark replied once he had been called out.

Kelly playfully replied: “I know that,” before continuing her thought.

“It’s not my imagination, right?” she asked the audience.

“He doesn’t say cold plunge, he says cold PLUNGE,” she noted.

“And when you cold PLUNGE,” she added, prompting Mark to continue.

Recently, Kelly was shocked as a fan interrupted the Live talk show on Tuesday.

The Live With Kelly and Mark host turned to ask her husband if he hired the woman because of what she asked in her outburst.

After the hosts took their places at the desk and thanked the audience for their loud cheers, a fan shouted something out.

As Kelly, 53, talked about the day’s date, the woman yelled, but they didn’t acknowledge her.

Then, when Kelly stopped her sentence for a second, the fan tried again.

“Mark, how’s your finger?” she asked.

He looked over to the fan with a shocked look on his face.

Kelly leaned on the table and said: “Lady, what are you, psychic? Thank you for asking.”

“My finger’s good,” Mark confirmed holding up the extremity and showing the audience how he could bend it.

“He was just backstage, showing me his finger,” Kelly said.

Mark then told the fan that his finger was “a little droopy” and that he still has to wear the cast when he works out.

He said he works out a lot and the woman complimented him and said he is very buff.

“Kelly is a very lucky woman,” the fan shouted.

“Yes, I am lucky. Thank you,” Kelly said.

“I didn’t realize you hired a hype woman,” she said to her husband.

They both cracked up before Mark moved on to the first topic of the show.

OH MY, MARK!

Mark first revealed his injury on the debut episode of the season back in September.

Over Labor Day weekend, the actor had gotten himself into a pickle.

“I had a major injury here,” Mark said, showing the crowd the small cast and splint on his finger.

Kelly could barely keep a straight face as she said: “Oh, we forgot that Mark had a major injury.”

“It’s so embarrassing,” he said.

Mark went on to explain how he got the injury.

“I was playing beach volleyball and I went to set a ball, and I feel like it hit my finger just a little strange, and I continue on, and my finger, at the tip, was at a right angle and it just stayed like that,” he said.

He showed the audience what he meant with the tip of his finger on his other hand.

Kelly took the opportunity to make an NSFW joke: “Just the tip?”

“Just the tip,” Mark confirmed as he laughed.

Kelly remained straight-faced and winked at the audience, saying: “That’s for you girls in the front row.”

“I tried to straighten it out,” Mark told the audience.

“You tried to self-straighten,” Kelly said.

“It wouldn’t,” Mark replied.

“It would just go back to half-mast every time.”

This had the crowd and Kelly roaring with laughter.

“All of this is a metaphor,” the host said with a twinkle in her eye.

Mark explained that he had “mallet finger” after he ripped a tendon in his finger.

He told the crowd that he had to be in a cast for eight weeks, but he took it off sooner than that.
