A Fox News anchor was left cracking up at a comedian’s digs at US President Donald Trump.

During his show, TV host Jesse Watters broke out into fits of laughter during Matt Friend’s comedy routine that featured his spot-on Trump impression. The humor didn’t stop with impersonations of the world leader as Friend went on to poke fun at Bernie Sanders, Karoline Leavitt, and even some past and present Fox News personalities.

In a segment of Jesse Watters Primetime, Watters set the stage for Friend’s performance by telling him: “But you have a killer Trump impression.” Friend seized the opportunity to mimic Trump, adopting his distinctive manner of speaking.

He said: “Jesse let me just begin by saying it is really great to be here on Rupert’s network. Ruperd if you’re listening what a tough cookie that guy is but well Fox is tremendous. We love the ratings, you know some of the networks that down that.”

Friend plunged further into his impersonation: “Look at him smiling like a dead dog, honest to God. I’m announcing today we’re going to reopen Alcatraz and we’re gonna put Taylor Swift Bruce Springsteen and Jim Comey in one cell they’re to figure out the seashell problem all on the run just a big problem.”

After the impression, Friend returned to his normal voice, half-jokingly claiming: “Yeah, I do the Trump I have the Trump Tourette’s because you can say anything you want in his voice and not get cancelled.”

Jesse then prodded Friend for his take on Bill Maher, confirming that he can mimic the political pundit as well. Friend offered his impression: “I do right Bill said you know what you know it really pisses me off right. So Donald he’s terrible on the outside but great on the inside right and finally new rule let’s stop hating each other. Let’s laugh,” he remarked.

“But if Bill Maher’s thesis is true, Jesse, that Trump is terrible on the outside and great on the inside, That means one thing, that Donald Trump is the reverse Ellen.”

When questioned whether folks get riled up when Friend pokes fun at them or does impressions, the comedian answered: “Well look, I think we’re living in a very divided time and I think I love that era of show business that Carson era where America could laugh and my objective in my shows him on the road, I’m touring is to make people laugh.”

He continued: “I like putting myself in different situations, I think it’s it’s limited when you only entertain. So you want to make want to both sides–I do want to make the materials writing itself I would do more Democrat impressions, but there are no Democrats left so that’s the problem.”

In other news, Fox News had to interrupt its regular broadcast earlier today with breaking news about Trump. In the midst of a press conference, Trump declared his intention to prevent Harvard University from admitting international students. However, this decision was quickly suspended by a judge.
