Some fans left with one question after a Beyoncé segment, while others were moved to tears by his “outstanding” reporting on the devastating Texas floods, which featured an interview with a “hero” Coast Guard rescue swimmer who saved 165 people affected by the catastrophic flooding.

In the most recent broadcast, viewers were once again left shattered when the anchor broke the news of the “horrible” death of one of American Idol’s producers.

David started off the segment detailing the “chilling double homicide” of the reality series’ producer Robin Kaye and her songwriter husband Thomas Deluca.

The anchor disclosed that law enforcement discovered the pair in different rooms of their Los Angeles residence, both suffering from gunshot wounds to their heads.

“The victims were ruthlessly shot multiple times,” authorities had shared with Muir’s team.

Los Angeles authorities have taken into custody the suspect Raymond Boodarian, who “scaled one of the fences” while the couple was away from their home.

Upon their return, he allegedly gunned down both victims “during a struggle.”

Officers had visited the residence just days earlier following reports of a potential break-in. At that time, the LAPD determined “there were no signs of trouble.”

However, investigators now suspect the killings occurred that evening.

The bodies were found when police conducted a “wellness check,” according to Amee Fageen.

During a segment, David’s team connected with neighbor Amee Faggen, who shared her concerns, saying, “The family had said they hadn’t heard from him in four days.”
