Greg Gutfeld has offered his perspective on Hunter Biden’s recent expletive-filled interview.

The 55-year-old son of former president Joe Biden became a viral sensation after he criticized several fellow Democrats during a conversation with Andrew Callaghan. During an interview with Channel 5, Hunter ridiculed “the intelligentsia of the Democratic Party” and called out several public figures like George Clooney and CNN’s Jake Tapper, whom he called “completely irrelevant.”

While he typically disagrees with left-wing positions, like the ones taken by Whoopi Goldberg who he claims made “crazy” comments on The View, he found himself conflicted about Hunter’s recent outburst.

On Monday, July 21’s episode of Fox News’ The Five segment, Gutfeld analyzed the viral footage alongside co-host Jesse Watters.

He began by saying, “I have so many mixed feelings.”

“First, you know, he’s talking about illegals,” he explained before remembering, “I seem to remember from a police report, he tried to get the police off his back over a missing gun by implicating illegals.

“Like he said, those guys over there, they’re illegal. So he’s not a saint when it comes to there.”

He went on, “But Democrats, if you listen to him – what have Democrats been trying to do? All six months. Try to be authentic. They try to fake swear, do a lot of theater.”

Greg thinks Hunter distinguishes himself from other party members through his “real swearing.

“You got to give it to him,” he acknowledged. “That guy is authentic, he’s the real deal, and dare I say: I like him.”

“I get that he’s defending Jim, Joe – Joe,” the anchor remarked. “And I disagree with him on that. But he isn’t wrong when he’s going after the establishment.

“I’m thinking Democrats, especially [James] Carville – Carville said that they’re looking for their savior – it’s this guy,” he commented, referring to the political strategist who Hunter mentioned “hasn’t run a race in 40 f—— years.”

Greg then labeled Hunter “the most direct, honest person the party has.

“He’s very likable and you have to understand,” he elaborated. “You can say, oh but he’s a drug addict. You have to understand drug addicts and alcoholics. That guy managed to make millions and millions of dollars while high.

“And that’s the secret: you have to be super competent when you’re a junkie, or else people will disown you. So he actually works extra hard.”

Greg continued, “If he’s truly in recovery, he will be legitimately dangerous just like RFK, who’s beholden to no ideology whatsoever. That’s my theory, I’m going with it.”
