Fox News Shatters Records With Unstoppable Ratings Streak—All 500 Top Cable News Shows Since the Election Belong to One Network, and More Stats that Leaves Others in Shock!
Fox News is in a league of its own when its comes to viewership, dominating the cable news landscape by broadcasting the 500 most watched shows since Donald Trump won the election on Nov. 5, according to Nielsen figures.
In December, the conservative network commanded the top 400 cable telecasts, with left-leaning MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” coming in 401, the data showed.
Similarly, from Nov. 6 through mid-January, Fox News, which shares common ownership with The Post, secured each of the 500 top cable news telecasts in total viewers.

CNN’s “Election Day America” was the first non-Fox program to break the run, coming in at 507, according to Nielsen.
For nearly two decades, Fox News has been the top-rated cable news outlet, with its audience surpassing MSNBC, CNN, NewsNation and Newsmax combined.
The network’s influence extends beyond ratings, as it serves as the primary news source for many conservatives.

“Throughout coverage of a tumultuous political cycle, wars in the Middle East and major breaking news events, millions of viewers across the political spectrum continued to tune into Fox News Channel for our unrivaled reporting and analysis,” Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement.
“I am extremely proud of our entire team for proving once again why we are the nation’s most-watched network as we outpaced the competition in covering the stories that mattered most to everyday Americans.”
While Fox News has solidified its position as the most watched cable network since the election, its main competitors have been lagging behind.
Since the election, both MSNBC and CNN experienced notable declines in television ratings.
