“Tune in,” she said on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Cavuto returned to work on Tuesday and is scheduled to interview Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is currently running for president.

Many viewers were impressed with Smith’s performance.

“Great job Sandra…!” one commenter said on the post.

“Hitting it out of the park!”

Another social media user praised her work earlier in the day.

“Great job of illustrating with the touch screen in your morning show!” they said.

On Your World, Smith interviewed two high-profile politicians about the conflict in Gaza.

US Senator Jerry Moran, a Republican from Kansas, told the host the American military should maintain a strong stance against Iran amidst the conflict in Israel.

Iran has reportedly funded proxy forces which attacked American soldiers several times in recent days.

“Our interest in supporting Israel is enhanced by our ability to push back on Iran,” Moran said.

“We should see a much more aggressive response by the Biden administration.”

US Representative Scott Perry, a Republican from Pennsylvania, struck a similarly pro-Israel tone in his interview with Smith.

But he was also concerned about the potential financial implications of the US getting involved in another foreign war.

“We want to help Israel,” Perry said, “but we also have to acknowledge our own financial crisis here in America.”

Smith, who has two children with her husband John Conolly, began working at Fox News in 2007.

She’s usually the co-host of Fox News’ America Reports program alongside John Roberts.
