Fox News host Shannon

Fox News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream halted her show to discuss Joe Biden’s attendance of services in Wilmington, Delaware, mere days after his unexpected cancer diagnosis revelation.

The pause was to chat with Axios’ Alex Thompson about his bombshell book “Original Sin” on Biden. In a tell-all interview, Thompson alleged that close aids to the former president excused undertaking non-democratic actions to obscure Biden’s alleged cognitive decline and block Donald Trump’s return to the helm.

Shannon prefaced: “You mention in the book you speak to a lot of members of the cabinet and I thought this was extremely illuminating and a little bit frightening as some of them told you they didn’t think [Biden] could handle waking up at 2 a.m. in the middle of the night.”

She added: “One of them who saw him in person last year said he was shocked by how disoriented he was. [He said] his mouth was hanging open and he seemed out of it.”

On probing whether these officials showed any remorse for their supposed comments, Alex asserted: “There was definitely a lot of self reflection about what, if anything, they could have done differently.”

Moreover, Thompson suggested: “This is the reason so many people were shielding him from the White House as much as possible, including cabinet secretaries. You see him once and think, ‘Maybe it’s just a bad day,’ you are not really sure.”

The host pressed Alex about Biden’s physician, Kevin O’Connor, in light of his prostate cancer diagnosis, questioning: “Was Doctor O’Connor too close to [Biden] to significantly and accurately pro his physical and mental health?”

This inquiry follows assertions by medical experts like Zeke Emanuel that Biden may have been living with cancer for an extended period,” reports the Express.

Alex responded: “Zeke worked on Biden’s COVID team, and he said he was almost certain Biden had this cancer when he was the President. That either means he had cancer and his doctor did not catch it, or it means they did catch it and they didn’t disclose it, so it’s raised more questions.”

He further alleged: “Even longtime Biden aides have told me they are sceptical and feel like they don’t have all the information when it comes to this cancer diagnosis.”

The news of Biden’s cancer diagnosis made headlines worldwide on Sunday, May 18, with the ex-President addressing his condition publicly the next day.
