Caitlin Clark isn’t able to play basketball at the moment because she’s been sidelined by an early-season injury. Even so, she’s kept good spirits, and her sense of humor is still very much intact.

The second-year star is out with a quad strain, with the Indiana Fever revealing as much last week and informing fans of an impending two-week absence that could grow even longer.

As it stands, Clark is set to miss the upcoming game against rival Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Saturday, but she could be back for the Fever’s matchup against the Atlanta Dream on June 10.

Her team is now 1-2 without her on the floor, collecting a much-needed W against the Washington Mystics on Tuesday night as Kelsey Mitchell and Lexie Hull put in solid shifts.

The Fever shared some quirky facts about Lexie on social media after the win. She fessed up to enjoying “A1 and cheddar” in the “weirdest thing you love” category, sending Caitlin down a confused path.

“A1 and cheddar. What does that even mean? She’s likes a1 sauce on cheese? Huhhhhhh,” Clark commented, adding several laughing emojis.

“Cut up cheddar cheese. Dip it in A1 sauce. Thank me later,” Hull said in response, dishing out the instructions.

Well, safe to say, Caitlin Clark wasn’t the only one who was baffled by Lexie Hull’s preference.

“So you put A1 on the cheese? Also, do you use A1 on your steak? As a chef I’m always curious why people do. No judgement,” someone else asked.

“Like A1 steak sauce on cheese? Interesting,” another wrote.

“how did you even discover that? I was babysitting a niece and she dipped her orange in ketchup,” a user inquired.

As strange as that is, several people said they would try it. At least one other person said it’s actually not bad.

Not sure how they feel about spicy mayo, but we’re waiting on a review from Caitlin.
