THE View’s Sunny Hostin has shocked fans after she threw major “shade” at her guest co-host, Alyssa Farah Griffin, live on the show.

As multiple hosts have been absent from the panel, Alyssa has been appearing on the talk show all week.

With Sara Haines and Joy Behar out since Monday, and Ana out since Wednesday, Alyssa has been helping fill up The View’s panel as a guest co-host.

Sunny has been the one sitting next to Alyssa throughout the week, and fans were shocked when the two clashed right at the beginning, kicked things off during Monday’s broadcast.

One fan tweeted: “OH DAMN…. looks like Sunny is starting the week off right by throwing a LOT of good shade at Alyssa.”

The user included a clip of Sunny saying: “I’m very curious as to Alyssa’s opinion on this, because she probably knows [Steve] Bannon and all the other crazy people she used to work with.

“So, I’m very curious as to what you think.”

The audience laughed at all of the sarcasm dripping from Sunny’s voice.

The shading and clashing continued on Tuesday and really ramped up on Wednesday, with fans commenting on how “Sunny stays on Alyssa’s neck.”

Another said: “That’s right Sunny! Hold…Alyssa Farah Griffin accountable!

“She worked for Trump way too long! I’m sorry I have no feels for your feelings.”

A third tweeted: “It’s the way Sunny Hostin NEVER misses an opportunity to remind everyone that Alyssa Griffin worked for ‘the twice impeached, disgraced former President.’

“Love to see it!”

“Sunny always throwing shade at somebody but she seems to really enjoy beating up the Conservative guest hosts,” a fourth commented.

Fans think they might be seeing a lot more of the pair’s back-and-forth in the future.

They are convinced the show dropped an obvious hint this week about who will be hired as a new permanent host.

Alyssa joining the talk show all this week was one clue, they guessed, that she’ll be hired full-time.

Another piece of possible evidence arrived during one of the Hot Topics segments.

The hosts spoke about how women who were involved with the former president have to “watch their back” any time they are out in public.

Whoopi Goldberg said a lot of women have gone through this same thing.

She then smiled at Alyssa and said, “You know what? We’ve got your back” and then cleared her throat before going to commercial.

Fans thought this might have been a hint to Alyssa coming back to co-host.

Reddit users praised Alyssa for staying transparent throughout the tough topics.

“Alyssa secured her spot today,” one platform user started the discussion.

“She was thoughtful and transparent in hot topics. She is the correct conservative to join the table. She isn’t an a** like Meghan McCain was, but still shared her perspective,” they continued.
