Scarborough, reflecting on Biden’s political struggles, commented, “I remember after Biden’s shockingly bad presidential debate, that’s when, like, the history books were starting, you could just see that was going to be the reason why he was pushed out of the race.”

He continued, recalling conversations with a reporter about Biden’s slipping numbers in states like Minnesota and Virginia. However, what followed in the segment struck Gutfeld as disingenuous.

Scarborough’s sudden critical analysis of Biden now contrasted sharply with his previous glowing assessments of the president.

Gutfeld, never one to shy away from a confrontation, immediately pounced on Scarborough’s shift in narrative. “What a convenient opinion to suddenly come up with now that Biden is long gone,” Gutfeld remarked, mocking Scarborough for flip-flopping on his stance.

Gutfeld went on to play clips from the past two years in which Scarborough had praised Biden, saying, “This version of Biden — intellectually, analytically — is the best Biden ever.” In another clip, Scarborough even mentioned that Biden had been calling him at night to discuss criticisms of his administration.

Gutfeld, however, wasn’t impressed. “If Scarborough got within 200 feet of a polygraph machine, it would burst into flames,” he quipped. His criticism went beyond Scarborough’s lack of honesty, claiming that the MSNBC host had to deny the obvious mental and physical decline of Biden simply to shield the Democrats from attacks during the Trump presidency.

“Scarborough couldn’t afford to be honest with his audience because the Dems had a big, bad, orange man breathing down their necks,” Gutfeld argued.

He continued his tirade, stating, “The funny is, if you had just told the truth when it mattered, maybe the Dems would have had time to find a candidate who could actually win an election. Hell, Jimmy Carter was still around at that point. He would have done a better job at that debate!” Gutfeld’s mockery underscored his belief that Scarborough, and other media figures, were more interested in supporting Biden than acknowledging the problems with his leadership.

In closing, Gutfeld hammered Scarborough’s credibility even further, saying, “But he didn’t, so now you have to lie about your lies. But hey, it could always be worse. Morning Joe could be on a network people watch.”
