💛 Forever 6 — Rylee’s Light Will Never Fade 💛

It is with hearts far heavier than words can hold that we share the passing of a brave and beautiful soul —

Rylee Renee Pellerin.

She was only six years old, but she lived with more courage, joy, and love than most people will ever know in a lifetime.

Born on

October 29, 2018, Rylee was a burst of sunshine from the very start.
Her laughter filled every room.

Her energy, her sass, and her boundless imagination made her unforgettable.

To her parents, she wasn’t just their daughter — she was their reason, their light, the heartbeat of their home.

No one could have imagined that behind her bright eyes and radiant smile, a fierce battle would one day begin.

It started with what seemed like small things — fatigue, a few unexplained bruises, moments of dizziness.
Then came the hospital visits, the tests, the quiet conversations between doctors.

And finally, the words no parent ever wants to hear:

“Your child has cancer.”

That day, everything changed.

But from the moment she understood what she was facing, Rylee met it with courage that stunned everyone around her.

Her parents often said she wasn’t just brave — she was

feisty.Even when she was scared, she’d flash that mischievous grin and say, “I’m gonna beat this, right Mommy?”

Through months of chemotherapy, endless hospital stays, and moments of unbearable pain, Rylee never lost her spark.

When she lost her hair, she didn’t cry — she giggled and said she finally looked like her daddy.

When nurses came to draw blood, she’d tell them jokes, determined to make

them smile.
When her mom cried quietly at night, Rylee would pat her cheek and whisper, “Don’t be sad. Jesus is helping me.”

Her hospital room became her kingdom — filled with drawings, stickers, and stuffed animals lined up in perfect rows.

Every time she was strong enough, she colored pictures for other patients.

“Some kids need happy colors,” she’d say, handing them little hearts and rainbows.

She had a way of bringing light into the darkest corners.

Even the doctors and nurses couldn’t help but adore her.
They called her “the sunshine of the ward.”

Because no matter how tired she was, Rylee never forgot to smile.

She never forgot to care for others.

Her parents remember one night, during a rough round of treatment, Rylee looked up from her hospital bed and whispered, “When I get better, we’ll go to the beach again, okay? I want to see the waves and pick seashells.”

That became their promise — their prayer — to see the ocean together again.

But as time went on, her body grew tired.
The medicine stopped working.

And though her spirit was still fierce, her little body couldn’t keep up the fight.

In those final days, the house was quiet except for the sound of whispered prayers.
Her parents took turns holding her, reading her favorite books, and singing the lullabies she loved as a baby.

The same songs that once helped her fall asleep now became the soft melody that carried her toward heaven.

On October 4, 2025, surrounded by love, Rylee took her final breath.

Her parents held her hands, whispering, “We love you. We’re so proud of you.”

And in that moment, a peace filled the room — the kind of peace that can only come when pain finally ends and heaven opens its arms.

Later, through tears, her parents shared these words with the world:

“Rylee’s battle is done.
She fought strongly and bravely.
Nothing ever dampened her spirit!
She was feisty up to the last breath!

She is cancer-free and breathing freely in the arms of Jesus.”

Though her time here was far too short, Rylee’s impact will last forever.
Her story became a beacon for families walking similar paths — a reminder that even in suffering, there is beauty.

Even in loss, there is love.
And even when the body fails, the spirit can still shine.

Her parents often say they still feel her everywhere — in the morning light, in the sound of laughter, in the little white feathers that appear when they least expect them.

They believe those are her signs — tiny reminders that she’s near, watching over them, free and joyful at last.

Now, Rylee is whole again.
She’s cancer-free.
She’s running barefoot through heaven’s meadows, laughing with angels, coloring the clouds in every shade of pink she loved so much.

Though her parents’ arms ache to hold her again, their hearts carry her always.

They know that one day, when their own journey is done, she’ll be waiting — with that same bright smile and that same playful sparkle in her eyes — ready to run into their arms again.
