As posts disappear inside China, overseas chatter alleges a 17-person party, heavy liquor, and late-night pressure that left the actor pleading “no more.” A director’s denial appears to crumble in purported footage, a manager’s calls raise new questions, and the screenwriter host reportedly vanishes. A grieving mother demands answers while forensic whispers cite extreme blood alcohol and an unidentified substance. Who is erasing what—and why? Until officials speak plainly, the vacuum writes the story. Full story below 👇👇👇

Following the Vu Menglong Controversy

Most news articles, photos, and videos related to the Vu Menglong incident have been wiped from Chinese social media. As of now, public access to information about Vu Menglong’s case remains severely restricted inside China, leaving netizens to rely on overseas platforms for updates and discussion.

Guest List of 17 at Private Party Exposed

A list of 17 attendees at a luxury apartment gathering has been leaked. The party, held in a high-end duplex in Beijing’s Chaoyang District, shocked the public with a bar tab featuring 10 bottles of hard liquor. Actor Yu Menglong was reportedly forced to drink until he could barely stand.

The host, a longtime friend and well-known screenwriter surnamed Zhao — known for several hit web dramas — organized the event. According to security footage provided by the building’s management, the party began at 8:15 p.m. and lasted until 2:40 a.m., running for more than six hours.

The drink bill showed 10 bottles of hard liquor, including two bottles of 96-proof Polish vodka, three bottles of 40-proof whisky, 24 beers, and four bottles of red wine — one being a 1982 Lafite reportedly gifted by a wealthy acquaintance. A housekeeper recalled that the next morning, “the living room reeked of alcohol, the sofa was stained with vomit, and the trash bin overflowed with empty bottles and used tissues.”

Key Footage Emerges

Security camera footage captured a crucial moment at 1:50 a.m. — Yu Menglong, pale-faced and trembling, was escorted into the elevator by two men, murmuring, “I can’t… please, no more.”
However, manager Liu allegedly urged him to keep drinking: “Just finish the last glass — don’t spoil everyone’s mood.”

Director’s Denial Falls Apart

Director Wang, who denied attending the party, was exposed by both surveillance footage and photos taken at the scene. Despite previously working with Yu on two films, Wang quickly issued a statement claiming: “I have no private contact with Yu Menglong. I stayed home revising a script that night.”

But netizens soon unearthed evidence: at 9:27 p.m., cameras showed Wang entering the elevator in a suit, holding two bottles of liquor; at 2:03 a.m., he was seen leaving alone, bumping into a cleaner’s cart in haste. A leaked photo — though dimly lit — clearly showed Wang sitting on the sofa beside Yu, his right hand resting on Yu’s shoulder. Yu’s face appeared stiff, eyes vacant, surrounded by empty bottles and mysterious pill wrappers. When confronted online, Wang deleted his statement and turned off his phone.

Suspicious Behavior From the Manager

Phone logs revealed that before the incident, manager Liu received three calls from a now-deactivated burner number:

1:15 a.m. — a 27-second call; Liu appeared visibly tense and soon pressured Yu to keep drinking.
1:45 a.m. — a 72-second call; Liu was overheard saying, “Almost there, it’s nearly done.”
2:10 a.m. — right after the call, Liu urged everyone to leave the apartment.

Mother’s Heartbreaking Protest

Outside the management company’s gate, Yu Menglong’s 72-year-old mother collapsed in tears, accusing the company of “poisoning her son.” Four days after Yu’s death, she and ten relatives gathered at the entrance, holding a white banner reading: “Heartless Company — Give My Son Back His Life.”

Through tears, she said, “My son never drank alcohol. They must have drugged him. The autopsy showed traces of unknown substances, yet they still claimed he drank voluntarily.”

The company allegedly deleted all of Yu’s work group messages that same night, raising suspicions of evidence tampering. Even worse, security guards forcibly dragged the grieving mother out, as surveillance footage showed her being carried away by two large men and falling to the ground, her elbow bleeding. Witnesses shouted, “Are you still human? How could you assault an old woman?”

The Vanishing Host

The mysterious screenwriter Zhao, who hosted the party, reportedly moved out overnight. Neighbors said that around 4 a.m., several men in black were seen carrying cardboard boxes from his apartment. Three days later, Zhao vanished completely.

A neighbor recalled: “I woke up from the noise around 4 a.m. and saw four men in black taking boxes out of Zhao’s apartment. He looked terrified, staring at his phone, then got into a black SUV with no license plate.”

Police later confirmed that Zhao is now missing, with his phone’s last signal traced to a remote town in Hebei province before disappearing.

A Pattern of Coercion

Yu’s case may not be isolated. Three years earlier, another trainee from the same company was hospitalized after being forced to drink.
An anonymous source claiming to be a former intern revealed: “At this company, refusing to drink means no opportunities. Three years ago, a rookie actress suffered stomach bleeding after being forced to drink. The company covered it up with a 200,000 yuan settlement.”

Just a week before his death, Yu reportedly messaged his colleagues: “I’ll try to endure one last drinking party.”

Disturbing Developments

Within two hours of these revelations going public, the whistleblower’s social media account was suspended. Police have now launched a formal investigation.

Forensic reports show Yu’s blood alcohol content reached 450mg per 100mlthree times the lethal threshold for an average adult (around 150mg/100ml). Traces of an unidentified substance were found in his stomach, and light bruising on his neck suggested possible restraint during forced drinking.

Authorities have retrieved all security footage from the night of the incident and are questioning eight attendees. The investigation is ongoing.

Who is lying? Who is destroying evidence? The truth will soon come to light.
