Lainey Wilson Reveals the Surprising Details of Her Proposal from Devlin Hodges

Lainey Wilson, the Yellowstone star and country music singer, recently opened up about the intimate moment when her fiancé, former NFL quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges, proposed to her. The 20-year-old star shared the sweet and surprising story of how the proposal unfolded and her plans for a “very simple” wedding.

Hodges popped the question in February, and Wilson shared the heartfelt moment on Instagram with the caption “4x4xU forever.” Wilson, who was initially unsure about the proposal, admits she had talked herself into thinking it might happen that day, only to talk herself out of it in fear of disappointment. “I was tired,” Wilson explained during her conversation with the Catching Up with the Camdens podcast. “I remember talking to my sister, I said, ‘He’s going to propose to me today,’ and she was like, ‘I gotta go.’”

Wilson later realized that Hodges had planned something special for her. The two were supposed to visit the George Jones estate, but when they arrived, Wilson realized it was a setup. “So, he had it all set up. He had the candles and the picture frames, and it could not have been more perfect,” Wilson shared.
