The person who filmed the cheating moment of the tech CEO, attracting tens of millions of views, speaks out for the first time. Who is Grace Springer? Woman who exposed Andy Byron-Kristin Cabot’s ‘cuddling’ video at Coldplay concert

Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour concert at Gillette Stadium (Boston) on July 16 went viral worldwide because of an unexpected moment. While Chris Martin (Coldplay’s frontman) was looking for affectionate couples for the “kiss cam” screen, the camera caught Andrew Byron, CEO of AI company Astronomer, and Kirstin Cabot, the company’s human resources director. Both reacted evasively, Byron ducked down to hide from view, while Cabot covered her face and turned away.

This unexpected action prompted Chris Martin to humorously comment: “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just really shy.” Grace Springer, a member of the audience at the show, recorded this interesting moment and posted it on TikTok. The video quickly went viral, attracting tens of millions of views in just three days.

The incident caused a stir on social networks everywhere

Springer shared with the U.S. Sun that she did not know the identity of this couple. She just found their reaction to the “kiss cam” quite “interesting”. However, accidentally turning their lives into the center of public opinion made Springer feel a bit guilty.

“Part of me feels bad for messing up these people’s lives, but when you play stupid games, you win stupid ‘prizes’,” she shared.

According to the information revealed, Astronomer is a company that provides AI software to many large corporations such as Uber, Ford and LinkedIn. Previously, in November 2024, Byron had praised Cabot in a press release on the occasion of her appointment to the company. “Kristin’s outstanding leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement and people strategy will be critical as we continue to grow rapidly. She is a proven leader at many growth-stage companies and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative work environments makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer,” Byron shared.

Byron’s career at Astronomer began in 2023 as CEO. Under his leadership, the startup grew rapidly, with revenue for its “Astro” platform growing 292% that year. Before joining Astronomer, Byron worked at cybersecurity technology company Cybereason. A 2018 article about the company revealed allegations from employees that Byron’s appointment as chief revenue officer a year earlier had “quickly caused turmoil.”

Several former employees said Byron often criticized those who disagreed with him. “You couldn’t challenge him,” one person told The Information, a tech news outlet. Another employee said that while people used to “love” the company, “now they hate it.” In the article, Byron denied having any contentious dealings with employees. He admitted that the “difficult decisions” may have “disappointed some individuals”.

The Daily Mail has now contacted Byron, Cabot and Astronomer for comment. Coldplay will continue their Music Of The Spheres World Tour in Madison, Nashville and Miami before returning to the UK in August and September.
