Kelly Ripa Reveals How She Got Pregnant With Baby #3 in Warning to Keira Knightley

The talk show host shares three children with her husband Mark Consuelos.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are the proud parents of three kids, and they are speaking candidly about how their youngest, 21-year-old Joaquin, came to be.

It all started when Ripa and Consuelos welcomed actress Keira Knightley onto their talk show on Dec. 16, where she revealed that she was traveling child-free while on a press tour.

“They’re with my family, they’re having a lovely time. I’m here with my husband. Do you know that sudden thing where you’re like, ‘Woah’? I was on the plane, I read my book. I can sit down. This is amazing!” she shared. “So, no, they’re not here.”

Ripa quipped, “Careful, dear, that’s how we got pregnant with number 3. We went away.”

Knightley then replied that her husband is “not coming anywhere near me. He’s going back to London right now,” she teased.

The conversation then veered toward her children’s interests, and Knightley spoke at length about what is, and isn’t, cool to her elementary schoolers. “We’ve just come out of the Peppa Pig phase and we’re suddenly—my oldest is into Lizzo and Chappell Roan…and my little one, who is five, and literally has just stopped watching Peppa Pig, is suddenly into Leonard Cohen.”

“That’s a wild jump,” remarked Ripa. “I kind of love it and it’s kind of freaking me out a bit,” admitted Knightley.
