Fox News host Greg Gutfeld, 60, recently surprised fans with a heartwarming announcement that sent waves of excitement across social media—he and his wife, Elena Moussa, 42, have welcomed a baby girl into the world. After weeks of speculation about Gutfeld’s absence from The Five, he finally broke his silence, revealing the joyous news live on air.

“It is with great joy that my wife Elena and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world,” Gutfeld shared with a smile. “Mira is healthy with a real set of lungs,” he joked, adding that his daughter has his wife’s “beautiful eyes” and his “rock-hard abs.”

Before delivering the news, co-host Dana Perino teased the audience, hinting at a big revelation: “This is going to be a great surprise for a lot of you. You might have noticed that our friend Greg hasn’t been here for a couple of weeks, and it’s for a good reason.”

While the couple kept Elena’s pregnancy under wraps, Gutfeld’s move into a $10.5 million Manhattan loft earlier in July hinted at their preparation for growing their family. The purchase of this lavish property signaled that Gutfeld and Moussa were already planning for their new chapter, even before their little one arrived.

The 3,560-square-foot condo is located in a newly renovated six-story 1900s-era building in Manhattan’s upscale SoHo neighborhood, designed by the renowned DXA Studio. It blends historical charm with modern luxury, offering a stunning backdrop for Gutfeld’s new life as a dad.

Key features of the $10.5M loft include:

Oversized windows and soaring ceilings that flood the space with natural light.

A high-end chef’s kitchen, complete with sleek finishes and top-of-the-line appliances.

Multiple deluxe bathrooms, including one with a stand-alone soaking tub.

A cozy child’s bedroom, showing that Gutfeld and Moussa were already preparing for the arrival of their baby long before the big reveal.

The pet-friendly building also includes a ground-floor retail space, perfect for their lifestyle in the heart of the city.

A Life of Luxury—City and Countryside

While their SoHo loft is their primary residence, Gutfeld and Moussa also own a serene lakeside property in South Salem, New York, purchased in 2018. This contemporary wood-and-glass retreat serves as their peaceful escape from the city hustle.

Gutfeld occasionally shares snapshots of their beautiful lakeside property, although his Instagram is mostly dedicated to their French bulldog, Gus.

Before settling into their new SoHo home, Gutfeld had a smaller loft nearby, which he put on the rental market for a hefty $24,000 per month last fall. This 2,200-square-foot space featured private elevator access, 13-foot ceilings, and a gas fireplace, but it’s currently off the market.

A Love Story That Began in Portugal

Gutfeld and Moussa’s love story began in Portugal, where they met while working for Maxim—he as an editor for Maxim UK and she as a photo editor for Maxim Russia. Recalling their first meeting, Gutfeld told Bill Maher on the Club Random podcast, “I met her and I go, ‘Oh, that’s my wife.’ I just knew it.”

Determined to win her over, Gutfeld spent three days in Portugal trying to get to know her. His persistence paid off, and just five months later, they were married. Now, 20 years later, the couple is embracing a new chapter as parents to their daughter, Mira.

What’s Next for Gutfeld?

As Gutfeld settles into life as a new dad, fans are eagerly awaiting his return to The Five and Gutfeld!. With his signature wit and humor, there’s no doubt he will have plenty of stories to share about fatherhood.

For now, though, the outspoken host is enjoying his new role as a proud dad, nestled in the comfort of his luxurious SoHo loft with his wife, daughter, and beloved pup, Gus.
