“By the middle of the afternoon, I was waddling from appointment to appointment, talking about how to get my cancer out,” she wrote. “I even asked if I could get a copy of my tumor ultrasound to put on the fridge next to the baby’s.”

Timpf gave birth to her son, Felix, not long after hearing the diagnosis. She later joked that her baby might have “saved [her] life,” as her pregnancy indirectly led to the early detection of her cancer. “I woke up more-than-a-week-past-due pregnant, completely consumed by getting the baby out… by the middle of the night, I was crawling around on the floor in spontaneous labor, before heading to the hospital.”

In May 2021, the couple wed in a unique ceremony officiated by Fox Business’ Lisa Kennedy Montgomery. Timpf wore a gown from Kleinfeld’s, and the altar was adorned with a neon sign that read “’Til Death”—a fitting nod to her irreverent style.

Reflecting on their marriage, Timpf said:

“When I fell in love with Cam, I felt more free than I ever have in my entire life… He has changed me for the better and it’s the best feeling in the world.”
