The White House Chief of Staff, 67, broke her media silence by joining Lara for her first interview since the Trump administration began. The two ladies discussed a myriad of topics, from surprising Hollywood connections to her relationship with President Trump himself.

For the interview, Lara and Susie sat opposite each other in a grand room. They both donned smart outfits in different shades of blue, but their positioning seemed to hit a nerve with some fans.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one user @LWgolf63 shared: “@MyViewFNC Hi Lara…love your show “My View w/Lara Trump”. One thing that bothers me though, is when I watch the segment when your interviewing someone, you look like a giant and the person that you’re interviewing looks tiny.”

Fans took to social media to complain about how giant Lara looked compared to Susie

They concluded by suggesting: “Maybe it’s the way the chairs are setup.”

A second viewer @bobbuddyfoster was a little more harsh on the daughter-in-law of President Trump and labelled the interview a, “Train wreck”

Elsewhere in the reactions @Deb4Freedom said: “We love your show! We look forward to it ever Saturday,” but stressed: “Wish it was longer or more often!”

Not everyone was throwing shade; many fans were raving over the “inspirational” and “interesting” interview.

One user @MrJokerCPoC gushed: “What a great watch! She is so incredible, humble, and doesn’t even like the spotlight. Susie is another real one and such a hard worker. God bless all she has done and is doing for our country.”

In the interview itself, Lara asked Susie was asked what was “the toughest thing you ever had to tell him,” referring to President Trump.

Susie replied: “The 2020 election. Coming to him after the 2020 election, in ’21, and telling him what he thought was the circumstance wasn’t – which is how I got into all this. He said, ‘well can you fix it?’”

“But he’s such a resilient person and he’s seen so much, it’s very hard to surprise him,” she added.
