Furthermore, Springsteen reflected on the notion that the “wealthiest individuals” derive satisfaction from the suffering of the American populace. “In my nation, they derive a sadistic enjoyment from the anguish they impose on devoted American laborers. They are reversing significant civil rights laws that have contributed to a more equitable and diverse society.
