The View and its opinionated cast of ladies are known for their hot takes. These controversial opinions are a big part of what keeps viewers tuning in. Based on recent scenes, however, the panel took a moment to recognize Whoopi Goldberg for a special honor. So, what happened in recent scenes?
The Ladies Of The View Are Known For Their Hot Takes
As longtime fans of The View know, the ladies on the panel are known for their hot takes. They regularly take shots at Donald Trump and his policies, as an example. In addition to that, they also regularly attack guests that they bring on the show if a controversial subject comes up, which it often does.
While the ladies on The View certainly play to a certain base, that base is a loyal one, and those fans keep them at the top of the ratings on a regular basis. It’s a show that regularly stirs the pot, such that even people who don’t like the show will tune in just to see what’s going on. In that regard, as well as others, the program has shown that it has staying power.

Whoopi Goldberg Given Special Honor
Recently on The View, the ladies took a break from discussing controversial topics to congratulate Whoopi Goldberg on her latest milestone. It turns out, Whoopi was included in New York Magazine’s “Legends of Broadway” series. As longtime fans know, Whoopi has been a regular part of Broadway productions for years, and she was recognized for her contributions in a big way.
Whoopi Goldberg added that she was “honored” to be included among the all-time greats of Broadway, as this is a huge recognition of everything she has done over the course of her career. However, this isn’t the only thing that the ladies on the panel noticed, either.

The View: Ana Navarro Praises Whoopi Goldberg’s Slim Figure
As fans keeping up with Whoopi Goldberg know, she dropped weight with the help of diet drug Mounjaro. Much like a lot of Hollywood elites and other celebs, Goldberg went this route to help her drop the pounds, and it helped her succeed in a big way.
The ladies on the panel noted how skinny Whoopi Goldberg looks on her cover variant of the magazine for this Broadway issue. The cover was also a recreation of Goldberg’s one-woman show, which ran from 1984 to 1985.
